If you want to learn more about Oglaf’s creators, you won’t find it anywhere on the site. I had to look it up on my search engine separately. Maybe the creators were trying to go the anonymous route, but it’s pretty easy to learn that the dudes behind this free porn comic site are Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne. It’s safe to say that if you’re familiar with their work, you would easily recognize Oglaf’s content as theirs.
The site has been up since 2009. That’s 13 years of weekly sex comedy updates in comic form.
Once you get to Oglaf.com, you’re welcomed with a single page containing the latest comic update. If you’re used to most modern sites, you might spend a hot minute scratching your balls to figure out how this site works.
At face value, the site is minimal. It might just be too minimal for my taste, though. There are no primary tabs, categories, or tags you can browse through. There are only a few navigational tabs on the right side of the single page consisting of Next, Previous, Archive, Store, and Patreon.
Visitors only get one comic page on the screen with only a few panels. You don’t even have to scroll to view the entire thing. However, the art style and humor make up for it. I’m not fucking kidding when I say the art is superb! That’s some pro-level cartoon shit right there! I specifically loved the color grading. I enjoyed that illustrated gold cock too in Oglaf’s Vein Of Gold. Oglaf comics are proof that it doesn’t take a lot of panels to get to your point if your art and humor are on point.
It’s easy to spend hours reading through Oglaf’s content. Aside from the fact that it’s free, there are no ads to disturb your geeky spank session. They remain up and running because of their loyal patrons, and it only takes $1 to fuel their pervy passion. That’s practically pissing out peanuts. Your wallet would barely notice it.
If you love dumb fun, it’s worth adding Oglaf to your bookmarks. It’s simple and easily digestible. Even non-comic fans would find it enjoyable.
