Now, if you’re one of those young nerds who consumed fan fiction growing up, you might’ve thought of FanFiction.net. I, for one, literally spent a huge chunk of my time as a wee lad devouring fan fics about The Wizarding World, especially Dramione fics. If you know, you know. LOL!
However, AFF or AdultFanFiction is not affiliated with FanFiction.net. That one’s free for all, anyway. AFF is purely for adult pleasure. The grown-ups need a bit of fun, too, right
The site is fairly new compared to other erotic story sites. AdultFanFiction has only been dishing out lusty literature since 2015. That’s about 7 years of service to fappers who like to read.
Let’s see if this site is worth any of your precious fap time.
Before you can get inside the homepage of AFF, you’d have to go through an age filter first. That’s right, my friend. No brats are allowed on this site.
I’m not the biggest fan of the site’s color scheme, which is in varying degrees of shit brown. However, it does remind me of old school libraries that are full of wooden shelves and desks.
Heck, even the site logo reminds me of my old school’s library. So I guess it fits the theme AFF is going for.
The site logo is on the upper left-hand side of the page, with the site’s donation goal on the opposite side. Below is the site’s main menu followed by site updates or news, which I find odd because there’s literally a primary tab for News, but more on that in a bit.
The main menu consists of Home, News, Member Tools, Forums, Archives, Info & Support, Advertising, Supporters, Donate, and Log in.
I’ll skip the ones that are self-explanatory to save time. If you’re here, you bloody well know how to read, and I bet your comprehension is way up there anyway. LOL!
The News tab is basically a drop-down menu that contains two submenus: News in Forum and Contests. For some odd reason, both submenus would redirect you to the site’s community forum anyway, so I don’t really get why they had to clutter up the main menu with those.
The Member Tools tab is another drop-down menu that contains 10 tabs:
The Member Directory is basically the list of all AFF members. There’s no search bar under this submenu, so if you’re looking for a particular member, you’d have to click on the Find a Member submenu.
Searching for Stories is just another set of threads in the AFF Community Forum. If you’re looking for a semblance of category, you’d better check the Story Codes submenu or the Archives tab, but more on that later.
Clicking on the Story Codes submenu would redirect you to the forum thread that contains story codes and their meanings. You’ll find codes for Anal, BDSM, Bisexuality, Fetish, and many more on this thread.
A lot of the stuff here is pretty specific, too, like Adult Baby Diaper Lover and the likes. And since AFF is an erotic story site, expect to see spicier story categories like Bestiality, Blood Play, Necrophilia, and even Incest, to name a few.
I know, man. These topics are pretty scandalous, but that’s what you’re here for anyway – to explore your kinks in the safest manner possible through written stories.
I was immediately curious about the Dribs, Drabs, and Doggy Tales submenu. As it turns out, it would redirect you to the AFF Community Forum.
It’s just the threads where prompts and memes can be found. But I have to give it to AFF for the witty play of words.
The Hall of Shame submenu is where you’ll find plagiarists being called out among other nasties. We may love pasta, but claiming a copypasta as your own is always done in bad taste.
Now, a lot of these submenus would redirect you to the AFF Community Forum, but there’s also a primary tab called Forum if you still missed heading to the forums. Sarcasm may be the lowest form of wit, but I can’t help it at this point.
I mean, most (if not all) submenus would take you to the forums anyway. It’s just overkill at this point.
The Archives tab is another drop-down menu that consists of 22 submenus. Here is the complete list:
Since this is an erotic fan fiction site, some Rule 34 action is definitely expected. It is pretty obvious with the titles under the Archives tab.
I just find it odd that they put Gundam, Beyblade, Dragon Ball Z, and FullMetal Alchemist in one submenu since these are different anime shows.
Some of the titles here have even more subcategories like the Books submenu and many others. At this point, I find the site’s overall sorting and user experience too dragging for my taste.
No wonder there are no donations coming in. AFF is a damn hard site to use! It triggered a bloody migraine! I almost quit this site entirely, but I thought I’d take a peek at some of the sex stories here.
Finally, after all the confusing mumbo jumbo, I was able to find a sex story. My enthusiasm is dry at this point, but at least the overall reading experience came pretty smooth.
I did not see a single ad, so you’re guaranteed to have an uninterrupted reading pleasure. That is, if you have the stamina and emotional intelligence to go through a couple of redundancies.
If you have the patience of a martyr, you might be able to endure this site. There are better erotica sites out there that are a helluva lot easier to use than AFF. My conscience would not let me recommend this site.
So unless you want a pulsating migraine, check out other sex story sites. AFF is just not it.
